Appearance

He is a blue Keronian. Throughout his childhood, Zeroro wore a medical mask. The ears of his white hat were shrouds. His symbol is a red (four-star) shuriken. Before when he was an assassin, he wore a gas mask. As the ninja Dororo, he dons a ninja mask and sheath for his sword strapped to his back. Dororo is often forgotten by the rest of Keroro Platoon, causing his trauma switch to turn on, making him sit in a corner and cry.

Childhood

As a child, Zeroro's hobby was gardening. Currently, he trains his physical swiftness and mental swiftness through meditation. Young Zeroro still carried his kindness. However, being an assassin, Zeroro had less difficulty with stealth. However, his near death experience brought him to care for nature. Frequently being ignored, Dororo has developed sensitive emotions.

Zeroro was part of a large, wealthy family. He was part of Keroro and Giroro's friendship (that Pururu later joined). There, he was often exploited by the group. Throughout their friendship, Keroro has broken Zeroro's beloved music box, used his stamp collection, wrote in his novels, and many more. His friendship with Keroro was struggled, as opposed to his with Giroro.

History

Zeroro graduated from the Keron Military Academy under the rank of Lance Corporal. He was assigned as the assassin of the Keroro Platoon alongside Keroro, Giroro, Tamama and Kururu. They were given the mission to conquer Pekopon. Caught in a bear trap on Pekopon, Zeroro expected his inevitable, lonely death until he was saved and adopted by the kunoichi Koyuki Azumaya who trained him the way of the ninja. In the anime, Zeroyasha, Koyuki's friend dog, found him in the trap. On Pekopon, Zeroro was caught in a bear trap, abandoned by his teammates, until he was saved and adopted by the kunoichi Koyuki Azumaya. She taught him the the ways of the ninja. Zeroro renames himself Dororo, and rejoins the Keroro Platoon.

Dororo (Zeroro)

Zeroro is a lance corporal of the Keron Army. After crash landing on Pekopon, he was rescued by Koyuki Azumaya (with the help of Zeroyasha in the anime).

Wishing to follow the way of the ninja, Zeroro changed his name to Dororo, after the forest where he was rescued. He spends most of his time training, reading, doing nature-related works, or spying on the actions of Keroro Platoon and others.

Dororo will not participate in plans that are potentially harmful to people's feelings or the nature.

Kururu's profile

Personality and appearance

Kururu is the brain of the Keroro Platoon, officially in charge of intelligence and planning, and the partner of Mutsumi Saburo. However, he is extremely mischievous, deceitful, and downright evil and enigmatic, almost to the point where some people might call him a mad scientist. He is generally disliked by everyone, most of the characters seeing him as a depressing jerk and in the series, action figures of him tend to sell very poorly on Keron, (much to Kururu's chagrin but Kururu seems to take pride in his bad attitude).

Despite this, he gets along quite well with Mutsumi. Kururu and Giroro greatly loathe each other due to their vast differences (Brain vs. Brawn) and as a result, Kururu usually uses Giroro as a guinea pig for any invention that he creates.

Other information

• Kururu's remote control resembles an iPod.


• Kururu dislikes sukiyaki. Kururu's favorite dish is curry. He loves it so much he bathes in it. It is shown in the Secret of the Kero Ball that his color originates from bathing in curry. It is unknown if bathing in curry is essential to maintain his yellow colour.


• Kururu often punctuates his sentences with a high-pitched laugh pronounced 'kukuku'; this may allude to his mischievous nature, as 'ku' can mean '9', but has the same pronunciation as 'bitterness'.


• Kururu's favorite word seems to be "Pochito" or in English, "I press."


• Kururu is known to be immune to disgusting foods and can eat a lot of it nonstop.


• Kururu loves curry, but often takes this to the extreme, even seen bathing in it, and can withstand even the spiciest curries.

Kururu

Kururu or Kululu was dyed yellow after falling into a large plate of curry. His stomach has a red swirly mark on it; a yellow one is also located on his hat.

Spirals can also be seen on his glasses. When these glasses are removed in one way or another, Kururu often begins to mumble "my glasses, my glasses" (megane, megane) and starts searching for his glasses.

Although he is ranked higher than Keroro, Kururu is not the leader of the Keroro Platoon due to his unpleasant and unnerving demeanor, which has given him the nickname of 'Yellow Devil'. His blood type is AB, which fits his personality. His name comes from the Japanese word for the phrase "round and round," 'kurukuru', referring to the spirals seen on his glasses.

Giroro's profile

Multiple Personalities

During an experiment to bring out the strongest personality from within, Giroro mistakenly sets off the "energy bullet" that was originally meant for Keroro. He split into 7 characters (including the original), one for each physical manifestation of his personality.

Giroppe - The evil Giroro. He is out to invade mercilessly. He is also incredily fast and holds no affection for Natsumi.

Girocchi - The housewife-like Giroro. She appeared in Natsumi's room, aptly dressed, serving snacks that were disgustingly inedible and hated, much to his sadness.

Giroko - The poetic Giroro. She entered a poet contest on 623's radio station but before the winner was announced, Giroppe blasted through the door, destroying the radio.

Girosama - The happy Giroro. He appeared with a fluffy shag cut, scarf, and yellow tinted sunglasses. He does nothing but smile and laugh.

Giropon - The loving Giroro. He questioned Mutsumi's intentions towards Natsumi and immediately attacks him, but was quickly defeated.

Girorin - The fear-filled Giroro. Eventually, being tired of his cowardly self, he threw his stuffed bear aside and faced his fears head-on by battling Giroppe only to be defeated in one blow.

Weapons

Giroro wields a large variety of weapons and is known as a renowned guerrilla combatant. Much of the weapons he has been using resemble ones that are used by mobile suits of the Gundam franchise, especially the RX-78. He also has a few mechas under his disposal— both flying and large type. He can summon any weapon at any given time, which is part of Keron technology. His Giroro Guided Missiles are his trademark in the first movie

Giroro

Giroro is the single unit mobile infantry of the Keroro Platoon. He is a red Keronian who has a scar over his left eye. His symbol is a skull which, unlike the other Keronians, is only on his hat. In lieu of a belly symbol, he diagonally straps across his body a belt with a rectangular buckle. It is revealed that it contains a picture of Natsumi Hinata.

The belt is priceless since it serves both as his good luck charm and as a reminder of his friends who died in a Keron War. Without it, he loses most of his abilities and is utterly inept as a soldier. However, as a young Keronian, he carried his skull symbol on his hat and belly and was not afflicted with the scar across his face.

Physical appearance

Keroro's body is green, accompanied with a yellow headgear with a red star in the middle (a yellow star is also seen on Keroro's stomach). According to Lieutenant Garuru, the star is the symbol of the Keron Force as well as its commanding officers. The star itself has the ability to lend it's dignity to the wearer. However, since Keroro lacks character, the effect is nullified while he wears it.When Keroro is met with an explosion , he suddenly grows a large black afro as a running gag reference to "Afro Gunsou", the anime's first ending theme song.

Personality

Despite his role as leader, Keroro can be lazy and cowardly at times. He can be extremely selfish, sometimes sacrificing his friends wellbeing for his own safety. Keroro constantly schemes plans to siphon money from the people of earth to either fuel his invasion schemes, or to buy more Gundam models. Despite a vow he made to keep the Hinata's separate from his invasion of earth,their constant meddling in his plans usually has him restraining them, and occasionally trying to bully Natsumi.

Hobbies

Keroro's hobbies include manga/television (his favorite being "Admiral Geroro") and internet surfing, but is especially enthusiastic about the creation and compilation of Gunpla (Gundam plastic models), possessing numerous models in his room. In addition, whenever Keroro sees a banana peel on the ground, Keroro steps on it without fail, as it is apparently his devout wish to entertain the masses.

Speech mannerisms

Keroro mostly speaks in the first person. In his more high-strung moments, he speaks with a Kumamoto tone.Keroro usually ends his sentences with 'de arimasu', which roughly translates to 'that is it' and is a standard military sentence ending.Whenever Keroro is scheming, he emits a raspy "Ge~ro gero gero...". Lastly, whenever he speaks English words, such as 'radio' or 'no problem', he rolls any R's in it.

Keroro

Keroro is a sergeant of Planet Keron's Army, and the commander of the Keroro Platoon.

According to Earth's Gregorian calendar, Keroro's birthday is December 9. His blood type is O. Watanabe, Keroro's seiyū, has stated that she played Keroro as someone who was about 45 years old. Keroro described himself to be a child when Nintendo started selling the Game & Watch systems.

Keroro's name comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound a frog makes ("kerokero").
